Job Description

Job Purpose:

Value & Reporting Specialist will support in streamlining bank’s demand prioritization processes. The Lead will also support in collating data for reviewing business cases, monitoring portfolio budgets, and tracking value across portfolios.

Key Accountabilities:

Supports in collecting demands for respective portfolio

  • Supports in orchestrating demand management across the portfolio with Portfolio Head(s) and ensures all deadlines are met.
  • Helps educate teams on adopting a holistic demand prioritization process which is based on quantifying the value of a project through financial metrics (Budget, Benefits, Timelines), non-financial metrics (Enterprise Architecture, ESG, and Customer Experience), and compliance (regulatory and audit), among other metrics.
  • Supports in reviewing the portfolio demand and proactively shares feedback with the teams for refinement.

Supports in reviewing Business portfolio cases

  • Supports in reviewing the Business Case Documents (BCD) shared by team for each project.
  • Supports in validating the financial and value metrics that are part of the BCD.

Supports in monitoring portfolio budget and spend

  • Supports in tracking and reporting the utilized budget with respect to planned budget for the portfolio. Highlight any faced or expected risks.
  • Supports in tracking and reporting of the portfolio with respect to expected benefits. Highlights any faced or expected risks.
  • Supports teams to refine or update the benefit targets or expected budget spend.

Supports in tracking and reporting value

Collects data to create report on value and financial KPIs across portfolio projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Mandatory: University Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Preferred: MBA or equivalent master’s degree
  • Total Finance experience of 2-4 years

Skills

  • Experience in finance management and budgets, banking sector is a plus
  • Experience of working with cross functional team 
  • Good stakeholder management capability
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Experience with data handling and analysis tools such as Power BI
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Willing to learn, collaborate, go the extra mile, and demonstrate high level of integrity with ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately.
