Job Description

  • Proven skills set in Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
  • Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
  • Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Taleo etc.) is a must
  • Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Knowledge of SAS EG is preferable
  • Banking and Fraud Risk experience will be an added advantage

Qualifications

  • UAE national with 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics preferred

Additional Information

The specialist will be responsible for the data analysis of the FRM systems owned by FRI for key insights and trend analysis. The specialist will be required to participate in the various projects undertaken by FRI Project team. Supporting investigations and system optimization through data driven decisions and insights from the data available in the FRM systems and from other related systems.

This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate would be expected to assist the project management team and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholder as the Bank. Having demonstrated ability to use SAS/SFM software to conduct and interpret complex statistical data analysis and are skilled in such tasks as analysis of variance, linear and logistic regression, preparing inputs for predictive models, and measuring model performance is desirable.
