Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Arrange and handle all Advisory & Institutional Trading Desk Middle Office operations (send end of day trade confirmations, respond to institutional clients’ requests, and coordinate with settlement team …), process Institutional account opening and arrange with Back Office team to open it in the system within agreed terms.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Generic Accountability
Customer (Internal & External):
Generate and ensure end of day Trade confirmations, statements sent to advisory/institutional clients.
Arrange with clients, settlement team (If needed) on client trade settlement.
Open advisory/institutional client accounts on Equator (local markets) and arrange with back office to open the relevant accounts on the trading system within the agreed terms with the client.
Document all correspondences with BO.
Prepare daily broker batch and send it to Head of Advisory and Institutional Trading.
Respond to customer requests related to statement, invoices, account opening, share transfer and any other non-order request
Ensure client requests are responded upon in timely fashion
Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):
Assist the Trading Department in opening of Advisory/Institutional accounts.
Ensure adherence to legal, compliance and risk management policies and procedures and regulations
Ensuring efficient and professional management of reporting of trades to the relevant departments.
Warehouse all P&P for easy reference.
Liaise with BO, FAB Custody on Trade Settlement on all securities.
Learning & Knowledge:
Constantly enhance commercial correspondence capabilities.
Keeping abreast with the product knowledge.
Undertaking programs and courses as per the Bank requirements.
Undergo online training programs as provided by the Organization.
Other:
Ensure a high standard of confidentiality to safeguard the client and the organization’s best interest.
Specific Accountability
The FABS Middle Office job is to respond to all Advisory & Institutional Trading Client’s requests and assist in arranging all MO operations with clients, Head of Institutional Desk and BO settlement team. Analysis reports on client’s portfolio performances and Research reports point of conduct.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Graduate degree in finance / marketing /economics /marketing
Skills and Knowledge:
Analytical and problem-solving skills
English / Arabic Excellent written and spoken
Research work and /or experience is an advantage.
Use of Industry terms and vocabulary
Ability to work well with people
Organization and time management skills
Excellent communication and listening skills
Work with high level internal and external clients on a daily basis
Ability to prioritize functions to ensure all processes are completed
Relevant regulatory pronouncements of the applicable local and international regulators and related best practices.
