Job Description

To manage the commercial leasing operations with designated Government and private organisations in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain including contract issuance, renewals of contracts and collection of dues. In addition, collect the service charges on FAB Properties’ freehold properties within AUH and AA, and process applications for signage permits and PMs via Smart Hub.

Job Specific Accountabilities

▪ Manage the relationship between FAB Properties and the designated Government entities via regular and frequent visits to generate interest in the property portfolio and identify any potential leasing requirements.

▪ Acquire a thorough and accurate knowledge of the property portfolio; the range and size of properties available; the leasing requirements, the rental pricing framework, and the vacating process.

▪ Increase the total number of government contracts by providing accurate and up to date information on available properties and addressing any rental enquiries directly to one of the Senior Leasing Officers.

▪ Handle the renewal and issuance of new lease contracts which belong to government and semi government entities, or private organisations.

▪ Monitor the incoming bank transfers from Government and private organisations/individuals on a daily basis

▪ Perform all property management tasks for the properties leased to government such as contract renewals, short term extensions, Break lease requests, vacating and address any potential legal actions.

▪ Follow up on recovery of maintenance charges for damages from Government tenants. ▪ Process the rent reduction requests from Government tenants by forwarding to the Business Administration department.

▪ Keep pending non-renewal contracts and rental overdues to a minimum level.

▪ Monitor the daily incoming bank transfers from Government and private organizations/individuals and assist with the preparation of the daily O/S summary report for Collections and Recovery

 ▪ Undertake a daily bank transfer for incoming recovered funds and payments.

▪ Collect 100% of the Service Charge fees which belong to managed freehold communities.

▪ Process Property Management Agreements (PMAs) for Owners/Landlords via Smart Hub.

▪ Obtain Government permits to install signage on all take-over properties in the AUH and AA property portfolio via Smart Hub.

▪ Deliver an engaging and unified customer experience to prospective and existing Government entities and private organisations

 

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

▪ Bachelor’s degree in the Arts (BA) or the Sciences (BS) or another related discipline. Minimum Experience

▪ Seven years’ relevant experience in the property management or leasing sector in a senior role, either in UAE or the global market.
