Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To complete BAU (Business-As-Usual) processes, systems configurations and projects related activities.
To respond to wider Group Finance teams’ queries related to areas such as FTP/NIM Analysis. To provide support on projects across Group Treasury.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Compile accurate and timely analysis of accurate FTP nos. for the purpose of business performance reporting at monthly, weekly or daily frequency.
- Participate in Daily FTP related TOM covering review of daily FTP output, exceptions as well as closure of systems/ process related issues in liaison with IT/FTBS
- Participate in source data governance related BAU and project related operational deliverables
- Complete operational deliverables in systems related initiatives from Treasury Analytics perspective.
- Actively engage with and support wider Group Finance stakeholders in addressing FTP & NIM related queries.
- Actively participate in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercise from Treasury Analytics perspective.
- Knowledge of Basel capital, liquidity, and funding regulations so as to be able to add value to projects concerning these metrics.
- Assist with Operational Risk reviews and Business Continuity Planning for Treasury Analytics an Group Treasury more broadly.
FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:
- Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks.
- Authorised to take decisions as per the approved authorisation matrix.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, CFA, CA or any related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification would be beneficial but not mandatory.
Minimum Experience
- Strong background working with banking systems and data model.
- Strong knowledge of banking products across Consumer, Commercial and Investment Banking would be beneficial.
- Experienced and well verse with reporting/ analytics processes in Group Finance function in finance sector
- Strong background of current and future reporting requirements
- Good data analytics skills and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability combined with ability to work independently with limited general supervision
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with cross functional teams.
- Experience of Basel capital, liquidity, and funding requirements would be beneficial.
