Job Description
· Managing day to day tasks related to Execution of orders (equity, fixed income or otherwise mandated) on behalf of the Institutional clients (domestic and foreign) based on their instructions (when needed), while adhering to the policies and procedures in place by FAB Securities LLC (FABS), the exchanges and the regulators.
· Overseeing the execution and performance of the Institutional Trading Sales Team, and ensuring the workflow is carried out in a timely and professional manner while adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Continuously monitoring and reviewing broker’s performance in the assigned FABS branch and approving activities concerned with the execution of trading strategies to ensure profitability for the company through the trading equity for FABS Clients as per the company’s policies and procedures and markets’ regulations.
- Ensuring Best Execution standards, promoting the best interest of clients and serve their trading needs and the integrity of the markets.
- Ensuring satisfaction of client’s and investor’s trading activities in order to comply with Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), Dubai Financial Markets (DFM) and Abu Dhabi Exchange (ADX) rules and regulations.
· Ensuring compliance to all regulatory requirements and to the conduct trading activities in a manner which promotes the best interest of clients and the integrity of the company and the market.
· Ensuring compliance of dealing brokers with SCA standards, FABS code of conduct and all of FAB/FABS policies, procedures and ethics.
- Achieving financial targets assigned to him and his team.
- Reviewing the day-to-day trading activities in the assigned FABS branch.
Financial & Share Holders
- Operate within the target departmental budgets.
- Achieve targets through service excellence in trading and articulate information dissemination.
- Closely monitor and supervise the Sales Team to achieve their assigned targets.
- Work closely with the Sales teams to scout and acquire new clients, locally, regionally, and globally.
- Manage the trading and execution to ensure the desk is amply staffed and all personnel are trading efficiently and based on internally set standards.
- Closely monitor department’s accumulated targets performance and ensure the facilitation of acquiring these achievements.
Customer (Internal & External):
· Execution of both Equities and Fixed Income transactions/orders on behalf of Institutional clients.
· Ensure that all orders and transactions regarding trading activities of Institutional clients are documented and up to date.
· Maintain solid client relationship by providing factual market intelligence in all the markets where FABS is active without providing investment advice.
· Open and assist team members in opening and on boarding of new clients.
· Provide pre and post market updates to clients.
· Maintain a high standard of professional service to all clients creating a differentiating factor between FABS and its competitors.
· Perform trades manually on UAE markets system in the event of the OMS breakdown.
· Attend to client disputes and complaints as the 1st line of escalation.
Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):
· Assist the sales department in converting leads of Institutional clients by marketing the desk’s trading capabilities and intelligence flow in all active markets and successfully presenting the service offerings of FABS and their added value proposition.
· Ensure adherence to legal, compliance and risk management policies, procedures and regulations.
· Ensure efficient and professional management of orders, execution of transactions and reporting of trades.
· Setup clients trading limits to ensure smooth trading activity. (After obtaining required approvals)
· Follow-up with the Operations department to ensure that all trade confirmations are done in timely manner and as per client’s request.
· Assist in the development of the trading desks and other relevant departments’ policies and procedures.
· Provide assistance whenever needed in reporting.
· Send regulatory reports to the Trading Manager on client calls.
· Develop operational procedures for brokers to ensure that only client and legitimate transactions are processed by the company.
· Ensure operational policies and procedure are updated in line with any rules and regulations introduced by SCA, DFM and ADX.
· Ensure proper implementation of any rules and regulations introduced by SCA, DFM and ADX by the brokers: this will include reviewing non-compliance instances with internal audit /compliance officers and agreeing remedial actions.
Learning & Knowledge:
· Enhance the brokerage capabilities to cover regional and international markets constantly.
· Keep abreast with the product knowledge and assist in developing market intelligence.
· Supervision and performance appraisal of Institutional Brokers.
· Undertake programs and courses as per the regulatory requirements.
· Undergo online training programs as provided by the organization.
Other:
· Ensure high standards of confidentiality and ethical trading to safeguard the client’s and the organization’s best interest.
· Opening and setting up new counter parties.
· Other duties as assigned for special projects.
Qualifications
· Graduate degree in either Finance, Marketing or Economics .
· Should be a UAE Licensed broker.
· Should have knowledge of SCA and UAE markets regulations

· Relevant regulatory pronouncements of the applicable local and international regulators and related best practices.

Minimum Experience
· 8 years in a brokerage firm with Broker Dealer experience with atleast 4 years of experience in relationship management will be preferred.
