Job Description

  • Leads one or more Service Delivery teams within a Service (depending on technical complexity of applications and stakeholders being managed)
  • Manages end 2 end service roadmap & implementation for the Service Teams in their remit
  •  Works closely with other Service Owners to delivery initiatives impacting multiple teams and applications

Generic Accountability

As Service Owner you will lead and be responsible for one or mutiple Service teams under a Service basis the complexity of technology, number of applications and stakeholders being managed . You will ensure the Service team / teams are mobilized and shaped up as per the Service Delivery Model.

The responsibilities will include :

  •  Owns & Manages end to end Technology Service roadmap and Execution
  • Analyze business requirement and design core banking system to meet the requirement
  • Manage T24 developments from design through implementation
  • Lead and coordinate the overall solution design & deployment activities coordinating with internal teams and vendors
  • Perform system assessment and develop application roadmap

Specific Accountability

  •  Influence & engage key business & IT stakeholders in the definition of Core Banking requirements
  •  Oversight on Demand Management & Release Milestones
  •  Compliance and Risk Management
  •  Managing and coordinating cross-services deliveries
  •  Ability to communicate technical issues
  •  Empowers, supports and guides the Service Teams to work effectively
  • Supports Service Delivery Manager to deliver the requirement
  • Ensures the engineering team has recovery plan / back-up plan for mitigating any risk/ issues
  • Prepare application recovery plans
  • Provide required support during SIT and UAT
  • Support the project execution and governance
  • Manage the risks, resourcing, quality and budget requirements for assigned streams of change

Qualifications

  • 12+ Years of Experience in SDLC or Service Management
  • Strong Functional and technical knowledge of the core banking system
  • Prior experience of implementation of one or more core banking programs
  • Understanding of latest market trends in core banking cloud, latest releases of T24 etc…
  • TOGAF, SOA, PMP, Cloud, Agile or Domain specific certifications would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss, and explain issues coherently and logically, in writing and verbally
  • Broad understanding of Application, Information & Infrastructure technologies & Practices
  • Interpersonal skills- collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Good Functional and technical knowledge of T24 modules AA, FT, TELLER, MG, LD, TOCAFEEE, and TAFJ
