Job Description

To manage Prepaid Card Solutions in the Region and achieve annual cards volume including revenue targets from corporate and direct issuing relationships. The person is expected to have deep relationship & understanding of growth plans on Prepaid cards in order to maximize the revenue potential & business opportunities to create financial inclusion and digitalized payments.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and expand a market for Prepaid card Solutions  
  • Manage banking relationships and third party partnerships for growth
  • To develop a high-level relationship with corporates and government entities in the region
  • Increase the database for companies and clients registering onto Prepaid card Solutions
  • Maintain market leader position of Payroll cards solutions
  • Develop co-branding opportunities and correspondence with corporate clients for non-payroll card.
  • Develop new ideas to make the Payroll card more effective in the market
  • Coordinate and communicate with other source and sales channels within FAB regarding any business issues when required
  • Achieve volume target from assigned portfolio with the appraisal cycle
  • To increase Prepaid share across all Direct Issuing relationships
  • Liaise with multiple sales channels to cross sell Prepaid proposition
  • Meet and present Prepaid card opportunities to direct issuing clients
  • Assist in developing new products and propositions
  • Monitor & analyse performance of products and channels
  • Evaluate/conclude performance of products and channels against targets
  • Define objective to enhance performance of products and channels
  • Propose solutions to enhance performance of products and channels
  • Prioritize proposed solutions to enhance performance of products and channels
  • Execute plan to enhance performance of products and channels
  • Communicate (pro-active) with line manager, staff, customers, stakeholders
  • Manage FAB corporate clients for Payroll and Non-Payroll prepaid card solutions
  • Manage Exchange house partnership and relationship to ensure smooth workflows
  • Foster to new payroll and non-payroll partnership to offer processing capabilities
  • Be able to disrupt existing payment processes and ensure to convert cash payments onto cards

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Management or related discipline.

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the Payments Business function.
