Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To perform a variety of tasks, such as the creation and development of PR, Marketing (print, email and online advertising), social media management and content development, template development, white papers, corporate videos and marketing collateral. They will also aid in the preparation of presentations and speeches geared toward employees and external reputational management

To be responsible for ensuring all brand and communications messages are consistent, setting up a robust 360 brand and communications framework for the team and supporting policies.

Job Specific Accountabilities

The Lead, Brand and Communications will join a new and dynamic team, working closely with the VP, Marketing and Communications and the Magnati leadership team to develop and evolve the brand and digital marketing strategy for Magnati in UAE, MENA and Africa. 

 

The Lead, Brand and Communications will primarily be responsible for the brand management, customer communication, social media content and internal communication for Magnati.  Their role is to create, implement and oversee brand and communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively promotes and protects Magnati’s ambitions and its products

Generic Accountability

Responsible for working with the VP, Marketing & Communications and agencies to adapt the brand strategy for a Magnati’s target market.

As the 'brand guardian', the role is responsible for maintaining brand integrity across all of Magnati’s marketing initiatives and communications and support the Business Leads to optimise and manage their portfolio of products and services.

Assists with product development and new product launches.

Developing an integrated brand and communications strategy for Magnati, incorporating Brand Campaigns, Customer Communication, Social Media Community Management, Internal Communications, Marketing and Online.

Implementing brand and communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organisation.

Developing relationships with communication partners to secure and grow coverage both online and offline.

Collating and analysing current communications (internal and external) and messages, ensuring consistency.

Developing and leading the company’s communication strategy across the Group – locally and internationally.

Internally, the corporate communications managers ensure that employees are aware of changes and latest developments within the company.

They will be responsible for developing executive messages, preparing presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information.

Externally, they represent their organization to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public. They develop and distribute materials that may explain or convey the company's policies or position on issues.

Manage and provide direction for communication via the website, social media outlets, print, and other communication tools.

Overseeing the brand and communications budget and ensuring its use is fully maximised and optimised.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree qualified in Marketing, English, Journalism, Media and Communications or relevant field is a must.

Minimum Experience

8 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector and similar positions

Experience in payments, financial services and technology is a must
