Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To perform a variety of tasks related to Digital Marketing and Media working closely with the VP, Marketing and Communications and the Magnati leadership team to develop and evolve the brand and digital marketing strategy for Magnati in UAE, MENA and Africa.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Generic Accountability
Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for Magnati, includes UX, UI and performance 360
Create and manage social media strategy to target audience to build presence
Innovate and present new digital marketing practices and ideas to evolve the online presence and engagement of Magnati
Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success
Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns
Create and define a clear SEO strategy (tech and non-tech)
Manage email marketing campaigns and tools
Work closely with the brand and communications to create unique and engaging content based on analytics and testing
Understand Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant tools to ensure optimum input and output from agencies
Keep abreast of new online content strategies and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
Develop a website (and app if relevant) traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks
Generate weekly/monthly reports on campaign performance and present to leadership when required
Partner with advertising and media specialists to optimize marketing performance, spend and meet KPI’s, while also driving sustainable results (ROI)
Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures
Manage all aspects of digital marketing operations
Work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing at FAB to optimize audience pool
Utilize strong analytic ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels (non-financial)
Provide thought leadership perspective for adoption where appropriate
Job Contex:
Specific Accountability
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate audiences
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools i.e. Google analytics, netinsight, omniture, webtrends
Working knowledge of ad serving tools i.e. DART
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adword campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavasScript development and constraints
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to managing projects
Well organised and able to adapt quickly to any new situation
Ability to build strong relationships and engage and motivate teams representing diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, Communications, Business Information Systems or a related field is a must.
Minimum Experience
7 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector and in digital marketing.
Experience in payments, financial services and technology is a must
