Job Description

As a Service Delivery Manager for Channel Next you will join a dynamic and talented team to help in implement and run the Channel Next platform. In this position you will be working closely with business and technology leadership to manage and realize the organization’s strategy on Corporate Channels. Given its potential importance you will constantly evolve the technology & business model of this platform from a single-service entity to a platform that even offers services beyond banking. Defining service level agreements and achieving them with excellent service quality. Responsible for career development, staff appraisals and application support.

Key Responsibilities

·         Makes sure the engineering practices of the team is aligned with business value proposition & incrementally delivers as per the customer needs

·         Leads delivery team, manages and maintains the overall progress of delivery

·         Analyze and guide the delivery teams on End to End solution hosting and technical aspects of the platform.

·         Drive relentless improvement of Delivery through adoption of automation tools & practices.

·         Manages overall requirements and dependencies with other services and domains

·         Mentors and guide the teams, ensures technical debt of respective service line is controlled and managed.

·         Collaborate with Product owners and develop strategies and solution of high business value.

·         Align business and various IT teams across organization to drive common approaches, delivering sustainable, agile and reusable solutions.

·         Push forward the capabilities and performance of the team to strengthen and expand service offering of the unit which is aligned with the business needs for today and the future.

·         Drive conceptualization and ideation process, develop detailed project plans, track and monitor key project health indicators and ensure effective implementation of new services and changes.

·         Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring SLAs are met.

Qualifications

Key Requirements

·         At least 15 years of banking experience with significant exposure to Global Transaction banking in particularly on corporate channels.

·         Proven track record of managing large and complex programs/projects in Banking.

·         Experience in implementing and maintaining enterprise grade distributed systems & serverless architecture using springboot, node.js, nestjs or similar frameworks.

·         Experience in Angular or React framework with working knowledge of Typescript.

·         Experience in NoSQL based Technologies like MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis and migrating data from on-premise to AWS cloud [RDS PostgreSQL]

·         Experience in designing, building and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS, which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS and S3.

·         Working knowledge of mobile technology (Android & iOS ) will be an added advantage

·         Working knowledge of Open Banking, Host to Host and any digital platforms.

·         Knowledge and hands on working experience in one or more of the following areas is a must: KONG Gateway, AWS Cloud Services, AI & ML, Kafka & Open APIs.

·         AWS associate level certification or equivalent is a must.

·         Deep understanding on non-functional requirements and experience using monitoring solutions such as AppDynamics.

·         Must have good knowledge and experience on DevOps and pipeline automation preferably using GitLab.

·         Be highly aware of market trends, new technologies, new Fintech products and business models.

·         Be a good team player and self-motivated with strong analytical mindset plus able to manage multiple agile squads.

·         Capability to develop technical solutions to complex business problems from Proof of Concept POC to development, testing, production implementation and support.

·         Domain knowledge in Corporate Banking services.

·         Strong knowledge on cloud native services and its effective usage.

·         Strong team building and people management skills are a must.

·         Experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

·         Excellent presentation, analytical and articulation skills.

·         Degree in Engineering/technology or equivalent with Postgraduate degree in business or equivalent.

·         Certifications in Project Management approaches including PRINCE 2, PMI, and Agile are desired.

·         Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Power Point, Excel, Jira and Confluence is a must.
