Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Support HoF, EAMEA in

·        Providing in-depth explanation of financial performance and associated drivers across EAMEA countries

·        Liaising with Product Finance teams such that LOB results within countries are analysed and explained

·        Providing financial advice capability to Regional and Country executive management such that decisions are made based on fact

·        Providing Financial Governance oversight capability to country Financial Teams when required

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Assist HoF, EAMEA in

·        Insight & Analysis

ü  Ensure country and regional EAMEA financial results are appropriately reviewed and analysed

ü  Key trends and drivers to be explained objectively with reference to support materials

ü  Liaise with Product Finance teams to ensure LOB Financials are reviewed and explained

ü  Liaise with Country Finance teams to ensure Geography Financials are reviewed and explained

ü  Highlight any issues with country financial results and coordinate with product and country finance teams to remediate

 

·        Non-Productionised Performance Reporting

  • Assist in producing Performance Reporting for EAMEA that has not been productionised and when it is required by HO Executive Management (e.g. Customer Financials as of Apr-2021)
  • Establishing Customer Financials for the EAMEA region as a regular monthly deliverable in parallel with Geography Financials
  • In due course, work with Performance Reporting Team and Country CFOs to productionise Monthly Customer Financials able to be split by Region and Country

 

·        Strategy and Influence

  • Play key role in executing on strategy when required or able to do so
  • Assist in preparing or critique business cases or initiatives aimed at enhancing country and regional performance

·        Capital, Financial, Regulatory and Taxation Reporting Support

  • Work closely with Country Finance teams, Group FC, Group Tax and Group Capital Management to support them where HO input is required
  • Actively participate in Country ALCOs and other such forums as required

 

·        Governance & Control Oversight

  • When required, coordinate, maintain and support the framework of financial controls within countries
  • Regularly assess and investigate, when required, the integrity of financial information reported by countries from a multiple of perspectives – accounting, tax and regulatory returns
  • When requested, assist Country Financial teams with HO engagement on issues pertaining to financial control

 

·        Transformation and Continuous Improvement

  • Seek to identify and recommend changes that improves Customer Satisfaction and productivity

·        Ensure alignment of financials contained within country presentations to Group & International Performance packs by reviewing and documenting any deviations 

FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

  • Maintain confidentiality of EAMEA Financial Information supplied to executive management
  • Uphold the integrity of financial information through establishing and enacting required controls and procedures

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA / CPA / MBA
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Financial Management experience with Financial Modelling experience valued
  • Able to produce high quality financial presentations that can simplify complex information
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Hands-on approach; able to work independently and diligently on all matters
  • Collaborative professional who can motivate, manage and lead by example
  • Multi-task, prioritize deliverables with a balance between attention to detail and timely decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an inherent ability to network and build relationships
  • Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders across business and enablement functions
