Job Description

Build partnerships with organizations that play an active role in our mandate to contribute to social and human development, helping to create more dynamic, cohesive and healthy societies in FAB’s key markets predominantly in Sports and Education.

Measure and create tangible and intangible ROI of the sponsorship are maximized by defining and measuring the relevant Brand, Community and Business objectives.

Identify and take ownership of a portfolio of sponsorships and partnerships that can deliver against the core brand value as well as business objectives.

Responsible for the development and management of programmes that complement our aspiration to inspire FAB’s employees and communities to grow stronger.

Responsible for the development and management of a strategic activation roadmap for the current portfolio sponsorship.

Evaluate, recommend, and implement new sponsorship opportunities.

Deliver activations that will create better engagement and brand visibility with defining metrics for engagement, brand equity and impact
Champion FAB’s sponsorship portfolio across our partners, communities, and stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrate compliance to organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the bank.
  • Manage and ensure effective implementation of functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Communicate the sponsorship and partnership activity to drive internal awareness and enhance engagement
  • Agree filtering/evaluation criteria for Sponsorship activities based on rationale, audience and objectives for pillars
  • Lead and execute year round programmes that complement our aspiration to inspire FAB’s employees and communities to grow stronger.
  • Develop effective relationships & maximize ROI ensuring there are clear on-going processes and benchmarks
  • Govern sponsorships and activations
  • Develop Sponsorship materials including contracts, proposals, presentations and reports.
  • Creatively use sponsorship assets to build tactical initiatives that will add genuine value to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure brand and business message integration is clearly articulated in all aspects of sponsorship including on-site branding and activation.
  • Identify and manage a portfolio of sponsorships, partnerships and activations based on key business requirements and provide a range of assets, collateral and platforms to engage members, staff and business partners throughout the year
  • Developing and presenting creative and bespoke partnership proposals.
  • Create and execute activation proposals that align with the banks strategy.
  • Manage all contractual rights and work with sponsors to deliver the agreed commercial benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communication or related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of project and contract management, and planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.
  • The ability to work on their own initiative, effectively both as an individual and part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask.

Minimum Experience

  • 12+ years’ experience in managing sponsorships and activation plans or a similar discipline.
  • Experience at a regional sports agency is a preference.
