Job Description

Chick-fil-A River City Marketplace is looking for a high-caliber, self-driven and motivated leader who can thrive under pressure to join their Leadership Development Program. This intentional program is designed to learn every aspect of managing a fast-paced Chick-fil-A restaurant with hands-on experience and opportunities to grow and develop into a higher leader within the operation! This leader will spend the majority of their time in the restaurant overseeing and assisting with operations as well as training team members and leading the guest experience. This role is not for the faint of heart. This restaurant is so busy that this opportunity will challenge any leader to question their resolve, patience, and people skills. This leader must have high emotional intelligence, grit, energy, flexibility, attention to detail, and a passion to lead the team with enthusiasm and excitement! The Leadership Development Program is filled with high-level responsibilities and career growth which could put this leader on a trajectory to own/operate their own Chick-fil-A restaurant or move into a position with Chick-fil-A Corporate.   • Hold the team of 130+ accountable to Chick-fil-A standards
  • Train and develop team members as well as improve team performance
  • Ensure operational effectiveness to grow revenue
  • Perform with excellence while in the operation of the business
  • Address any guest issues that may arise 
  • Perform off-shift managerial tasks if needed such as inventory and ordering
  • Maintain positive working relationship with team providing feedback when necessary 
  • Demonstrate good stewardship of the business and resources
  • Meet with the Operator and leadership team for development

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 1-3+ years of leadership and management experience preferred
  • Demonstrates a servant leadership mentality
  • Provides excellent customer service—evident that you love what you do
  • Possesses a willingness and desire to learn and be coached
  • Self-starter and problem solver with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to keep composer under high pressure and make decisions quickly
  • Humble—willing to do tasks that others might consider beneath them
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback with a growth mindset
  • Passionate about understanding the business and developing the team
