Job Description

Chick-fil-A Arden Fair is seeking an Operations Director with the ability to provide operational oversight and strong leadership to the 90+ team members. The ultimate goal for this person is to work alongside the Owner/Operator and Senior leadership team to play a key role in growing the business and holding the team accountable. They will spend their time in the restaurant helping the Operator make business decisions for the organization as well as developing managers and team leads for the store. This individual must be someone who is not afraid of hard work and someone who prioritizes coaching the team to be the best that they can be! Long- term, this individual will have the opportunity to continue to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity like helping pursue another franchise location or even pursue becoming an Owner/Operator themselves.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Hold the team of 90+ accountable to Chick-fil-A standards
  • Improve operational effectiveness to grow revenues to 10 million
  • Lead the Front of House and Back of House teams to operational excellence
  • Work alongside the team in the operation to determine areas of improvement
  • Interact with guests in the dining room to ensure a positive guest experience 
  • Perform off shift managerial tasks such as scheduling, inventory, and training 
  • Meet regularly one on one with the Operator and leadership team

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 3-5+ years of management experience or leading a team; ideally in a restaurant setting 
  • Experience handling a high revenue volume
  • Experience developing and coaching leaders
  • Ability to see areas of improvement; proactive over reactive
  • Ability to keep composer under pressure
  • Values honesty and integrity
  • Committed to the growth and impact of a team and organization
  • Ability to effectively communicate to the team with honor, dignity and respect
