Job Description

Chick-fil-A Gardens on Havana is seeking a Director of Operations to provide high-level leadership and oversight to the operations. The ultimate goal for this role is to prepare individuals to pursue their own Chick-fil-A franchise or a position at Chick-fil-A Corporate after at least 2-3 years of learning the business. This person will work alongside the other Directors in the store to provide strategic leadership to help scale and grow the operations and leadership. After about 3 months of learning the basics, this individual can expect to begin progress to Director-level responsibilities. This individual will rotate through different Director roles to become a well-rounded leader ready to pursue a long-term opportunity as a Chick-fil-A Operator or with Chick-fil-A Corporate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure operational excellence in all areas of the business
  • Oversee and develop top leadership within the restaurant
  • Rotate through multiple aspects of the business to gain knowledge of the total operation
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks, both on and off shift
  • Lead and motivate teams every day to achieve incredible customer service
  • Meet with Director team regularly to solve problems as a team
  • Within the first 3 months, take on responsibilities of a Director which includes: development and feedback for team members; processing applications, interviewing, orientation for new hires; and contribute to leadership team meetings among other things
  • Meet with Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator for mentoring and development on a monthly basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 1-2+ years of previous work experience that demonstrates strong leadership ability
