Job Description

Chick-fil-A PCH and Maple is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations who has the capacity to oversee and own one area of the business and lead large teams. Whether that be the Back of House or Drive-thru, this leader will be responsible for leading and managing a team of multiple direct reports to success in a high volume, fast paced environment. The Director will have the ability to innovate change to support business growth, provide world class hospitality, unmatched customer service, and be a servant leader to those they supervise. Lastly, the Director will serve as a key thought leader for the Owner/Operator, serving on the leadership team and helping oversee 100+ team members in a brand new location. After 2-3 years of learning and adding value to the business, this individual will be prepared to apply to Chick-fil-A Corporate’s Leadership Development Program (LDP), a program that Chick-fil-A selects future Operators out of, or apply directly to become an Owner/ Operator.

POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee large teams to deliver a positive and efficient guest experience
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in area of expertise
  • Conduct team meetings and leadership development meetings
  • Set goals and assess results
  • Work with the executive team to ensure appropriate daily and restaurant staffing levels
  • Train new team members to ensure they are equipped for success
  • Maintain a positive working relationship treating all employees with respect
  • Possess a complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of house
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 2-5+ years of management or hospitality experience
  • Proven ability to lead in a fast paced environment
  • Must be an excellent coach, communicator, and team builder
  • Strong desire to serve others
  • Self-leader committed to personal growth
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
  • Team and customer oriented; maintains positive attitude
  • Willingness to step outside of job role to assist in other’s roles
