Job Description

Chick-fil-A Audubon Crossings is seeking a Director of Training and Development to focus on the overall growth of the team. This leader will focus on designing, developing and refining the current curriculum, conduct orientation and onboarding for new hires, and work side by side with the team. The Director of Training and Development will support new hires and learning coaches and can expect to lead large teams during any given shift. This is the ideal opportunity to develop and mentor young employees who may be starting their first ever job with Chick-fil-A. After 2-3 years of learning and adding value to the business, this individual will be prepared to apply to Chick-fil-A Corporate’s Leadership Development Program (LDP), a program that Chick-fil-A selects future Operators out of, or apply directly to become an Owner/Operator.

Position Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide operational coaching and feedback to the team while on shift
  • Conduct orientation and onboarding for new hires
  • Conduct gap analysis on the current curriculum to rebuild and refine it
  • Develop and deliver assessments to team
  • Work alongside team members; interact with guests
  • Lead teams of 12-25 team members/employees on shift
  • Meet regularly with the leadership team and one-on-one with the Operator for consistent personal/professional mentorship

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 1-2+ years of leadership or management experience required
  • Prior experience in instructional design or teaching is a plus
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Prior experience mentoring and/or coaching others is a plus
  • Possesses genuine care for others; mindfulness
