Fire Hose Games is growing! The studio behind Go Home Dinosaurs, Catlateral Damage, and 20XX is now working on 2 new unannounced games for PC/console that are more ambitious departures from our previous titles. We’re looking for talented, passionate developers to expand our team.

Job Description

  • Oversee a development team of ~10 people
  • Mitigate or remove any impediments to the team’s work
  • Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders
  • Assist in estimating time and schedules for project milestones, releases, and tasks
  • Manage the backlog and track progress towards deliverables
  • Play development builds and offer feedback
  • Manage post-launch development with regular game updates and live support
  • Coordinate work between remote developers
  • On site position - candidate may begin work remotely, due to current travel restrictions, but must be able to relocate to Boston when conditions permit

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3+ years industry experience
  • 2 shipped titles
  • General knowledge of business development
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of various disciplines of game development

Preferences

  • Experience with agile or Scrum frameworks
  • Experience as a ScrumMaster
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience directing free to play games with monetization systems
  • Experience taking a game from pre-production to launch as a producer
  • Experience with live development
