We're looking for a passionate and talented Product Designer who has the skills and experience to make a real impact as a key contributor to our business and industry— the ever-evolving cyber security, forensics, and intelligence space. A Product Designer is an individual who enjoys all phases of the design process, from user research and problem definition, to wireframing, layout, visual design, and prototyping. This role analyzes, creates, and communicates compelling digital experiences and strategies as part of an influential team whose activities have a material effect on our business and our customer’s outcomes. This person has a deep understanding of interaction design, considers both the user and technology, can improve usability, accessibility, and can increase the business impact of the product.  

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to transform ideas into elegant, engaging, and intuitive user interfaces for security-related systems. They are hands-on and detail-oriented, with the ability to research, design, prototype, and advise on the implementation of user interfaces that support a variety of complex data-driven workflows. This role requires the designer to articulate and defend design decisions to development teams and key stakeholders. This designer will also contribute to the best-in-class visual standards for the company. They must have exceptional written, verbal, and visual design communication skills and be able to drive a user experience, visual design, and information architecture from concept to a finished product. They also possess the ability to train, mentor, and develop these skills in other designers of varying experience and skill levels.  

 What You Will Do: 

  • Work with a highly talented and motivated design team to conduct user research, create workflows, and deliver UI designs in a cross-functional environment. 

  • Work within, and contribute to, a continuously maturing design system. 

  • Work with UX researchers to perform and analyze qualitative and quantitative user research. 

  • Design and refine the visual language, interaction, and overall user experience of products using the latest tools, techniques, and best practices.  

  • Expertly document and communicate design via detailed instructions for layout, typography, workflow, macro and micro-interactions, animations, color, and UI behaviors. 

  • Create and prototype interactive components and flows. 

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and cross-business teams. 

  • Actively contribute to constructive design critiques. 

  • Communicate user needs and design decisions through effective public speaking.  

  • Demonstrate a deep passion for learning and have the courage to push the boundaries of one's own thinking.  

  • Travel as much as 5-10%.  

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of work experience.  

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating how your design work has impacted the products you have worked on. 

  • Experience with multi-platform and multi-form-factor design.  

  • Experience with current industry standard design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, the Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, Principal or InVision.  

  • Experience using prototyping tools to illustrate user workflows and elicit feedback. 

  • Experience designing micro-interactions, transitions, and animations.
