Job Description

-Design and implement efficient, robust and scalable production quality components in T-SQL.

-Write highly performing, scalable TSQL code (Stored Procedures, Functions e.t.c).

-Design physical and logical data modelling using the TOAD modelling tool.

-Perform the technical task of actually installing the system and all its necessary components.

-Identify and resolve all issues and provide support/assistance for same.

-Ensure quality implementation and customer satisfaction across all Client implementations

-Works to best practice development and support guidelines

Qualifications

-Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree/Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Analytics or any other related course.

-Minimum of 5 years professional experience in using Microsoft SQL Server (Script Writing).

-Extensive knowledge of development in Latest Microsoft SQL Server and prior versions

- Excellent T-SQL coding experience (Stored Procedures and Functions)

-. Experience in database performance tuning

- Good understanding of all Microsoft SQL Server features (Security, Backup/Restore, Replication, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)

- Strong knowledge working with Microsoft Development and Administration Tools (Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio)

- Experience in database performance tuning

-DevOPS Experience, Azure to be precise

-Use of R for data analysis will be of added advantage.
