Job Designation: Senior Developer – Architect Level

Job Location: Hyderabad 

Experience: 10+Years.

Job Description:

1. 10+ years of experience architecting, designing and building solutions with Java & Open Systems technologies

2. Expert knowledge of Struts, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript and jQuery

3. Expert in OO design 

4. Experience with Tomcat

5. Expertise in Oracle & Sql Server 

6. Expert in XML, XSD

7. Gaining an understanding of our Current State and Target State Architecture and then working with the team to define a strategy for our technical direction

8. Gather and analyse requirements from product managers

9. Define solution level architecture for project teams including guidance on development tools, target platforms, operations, and security

10. Conduct proof of concept activities with key business users in support of advanced use cases

11. Deep and wide background in open/distributed systems technology utilizing Java based solutions

12. Be comfortable with driving technical ideas and communicating clearly with technical audience

13. Introduce best practices and principles to enable consistent delivery and enable alignment with long term direction

14. Lead and mentor other team members

15. Foster development best practices within the team

16. Identify and drive process improvements

17. Facilitate communication with cross-functional groups

18. Stay up to date on new tools & techniques in the open systems space

19. Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

20. Strong troubleshooting skills

21. Experience with performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting

Good to Have:

1. Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss

2. Experience with TypeScript

3. Understanding of OOPs in JavaScript

4. Understanding of SOA principles and Web Services technologies: REST & SOAP

5. Working knowledge of NoSQL DBs

6. Experience in creating automated unit testing using JUnit and practicing test driven development

7. Experience with build environment using Ant and continuous integration tools

8. Fluency with NetBeans

9. Exceptional oral and written communication skills
