Job Description

Opportunity to grow and experience all aspects within a Supply Chain!   Entry level position will have opportunity to plan and execute, through data driven decisions, purchasing needs for the company. Includes packaging, office supplies, warehouse supplies, Marketing materials, and other on-demand sourcing & procurement needs. 

1.     Planning and purchasing material requirements to optimize stock levels.

2.     Coordinate RFP/RFQ’s, sourcing events, and all appropriate procurement strategies to ensure reliable and cost-efficient partnerships with identified suppliers.

3.     3-way match and approval for payments

4.     Documenting, tracking, and entry into designated systems

5.     Development, preparation, and delivery of reporting analysis & KPIs to management.

6.     Ad hoc duties to include, but not limited to, data entry/SKU upkeep, company committees, inventory management, and misc. research directed by management

 

Qualifications

Job Requirements

·         Minimum 1 year Supply Chain / Buying experience or equivalent education from accredited institution

·         Prior experience working with system driven inventory management; NetSuite experience a plus but not  required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

·         Intermediate Microsoft Office

·         Ability to analyze and solve problems.

·         Familiar with physical inventory counting, auditing and reconciliation.

·         Freight logistics experience a plus but not required

·         Ability to work in self-directed, fast paced, multi-task environment while ensuring accuracy

·         Strong communication skills as this position will work with all areas of the company

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

·         May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs.

·         Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
