Senior Staff Accountant - Mid-Sized London Accounting Firm

Company Description
We are looking for individuals at various experience levels to join our growing mid-sized accounting firm in the London, ON Area.
Our client base is diverse and includes clients from industries such as manufacturing, construction, real estate, transportation, and professional services providers. We provide accounting, auditing, tax and valuation services to a variety of owner-managed and small to medium sized corporations.
Job Description
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of working paper files
- Preparation of corporate, personal and trust income tax returns
- Preparation of tax slips (T3, T4, T5, etc.)
- Bookkeeping assignments
- Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with clients, co-workers and all levels of staff and management
- Direct field work daily, inform Manager(s) of the engagement status
- Develop strong technical audit, accounting and tax skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience at public accounting firm
- 1 year of audit and assurance experience
- Attained or currently pursuing an accounting designation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to work and learn
- Strong working knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting
