Job Description

The Inventory & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient management, availability, and control of all Food & Beverage inventory across cinema locations. The role safeguards product availability while minimizing stock losses, waste, and operational disruptions that may impact the department’s annual revenue target.

This position ensures that all cinema concession operations have the right products available at the right time, in the right quantities, while maintaining strict stock control processes and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Planning & Control

  • Manage end-to-end inventory oversight for all F&B products across cinema locations.
  • Establish and enforce inventory control processes to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent stockouts that may impact concession sales.
  • Develop and manage stock replenishment plans aligned with sales forecasts and demand patterns.
  • Stock Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track stock movement, consumption patterns, and inventory turnover across all sites.
  • Conduct regular stock reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Investigate discrepancies, shrinkage, or unusual consumption patterns and recommend corrective action.
  • Provide weekly and monthly inventory performance reports to the F&B leadership team.
  • Operational Support

  • Work closely with cinema operations teams to ensure proper stock handling, storage, and usage.
  • Support concession operations by ensuring critical products are consistently available during peak trading periods.
  • Coordinate inter-site stock transfers where required to optimise product availability.
  • Waste Reduction & Cost Control

  • Monitor product waste levels and implement strategies to reduce spoilage and expiry.
  • Support the F&B leadership team in protecting margins through disciplined stock control.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies that may impact inventory costs.
  • Systems & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the company’s inventory management systems.
  • Implement standardised stock management procedures across all cinema locations.
  • Train site teams on inventory handling, stock counts, and reporting procedures.
  • Collaboration with Procurement & Vendors

  • Work closely with the Procurement & Vendor Manager to ensure stock availability and timely replenishment.
  • Provide demand insights to inform purchasing decisions and supplier planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in inventory or supply chain management, preferably in hospitality, retail, FMCG, or food service environments.
  • Experience managing multi-location inventory operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
