Job Description

Our ideal candidate will have a) business analysis experience and b) e-commerce technology expertise and a demonstrated ability to define business requirements and work on technical projects. In this role, you are also expected to work closely with your peers, operations managers / senior managers/ senior leaders to understand their requirement and translate them into actionable metrics.

Key objectives of this function are
Work with Sales and Business teams in US, CN and EU to understand Seller support needs and finalize program scope.
Manage day to day metrics generation and deep dive in issues
Connect with key stakeholders and Sellers regularly and make sure service levels are adhered to
Conceptualize and drive program changes
Suggest solutions to the problem faced
Partner with tech teams to build automated solutions
Drive efficiency improvements and raise service standard

In this role, you will:
Own reporting metrics of Listing program
Use SQL skills to deep dive, find issues and come up with solutions to existing problems
Suggest team on trends and best solutions
Partner with technology teams driving automation initiatives
Active participate in hiring and building the team
Monitor real time service levels and schedule adherence
Serve as point of contact for escalated contacts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree from a well-regarded institution in an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance)
3-4 years of work experience with 1-2 years of experience as a people manager
Experience analyzing data and communicating the results to business leaders
Knowledge of basic statistics
Experience building automation and tools for data visualization
SQL databases and Excel to manage and analyze large data sets
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to work with IT systems, understand and work with XML feeds, SQL/DW
Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel) applications
Excellent analytical, problem solving and logical reasoning skills
Passion for innovation, automation and operational excellence
Ability to handle complex and ambiguous scenarios
Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities - capability to work on several projects in parallel
Proven ability to manage reporting and analysis
Demonstrated passion for delivering a positive Seller experience, and maintain composure in difficult situations
Can adapt well to changing circumstances, direction, and strategy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel (prior data mining experience a plus).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.
A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
Experience in a technology company or high-tech environment a plus.
High customer focus and professional demeanor.
Should have deep expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of extremely large datasets.
Should be able to work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
Strong time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.”
