Job Description
Long time, very stable web consulting firm is looking for a Lead and/or Sr. Magento Engineer. They are open to contract or permanent, but you must be in the LA area. You will interface directly with clients, but there is very little travel involved.
Qualifications
7-10+ years developing Web sites, and back-end integration on LAMP stack
Ecommerce development using Magento and experience with Zend Framework
Experience in cross-platform development using PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular.js, Node.js and other JS frameworks
1+ year developing responsive sites for mobile and tablet platforms
Working knowledge of Linux, MySQL and NoSQL dbms
Experience extending or customizing existing products/frameworks such as Drupal, Magento Enterprise, WordPress, or OS Commerce
Experience using best practice version control methodologies and tools such as Git or SVN
Demonstrated experience in managing/leading development teams; experience working with off-shore teams a plus
