Job Description

Exciting financial company is looking for a talented and driven Product Manager to work collaboratively with teams within the company to assist with the enginerring and management of internal systems, applications and product interfaces.

Role specifications and responsibilities:

  • Work in a lean/agile software development environment with the engineering team in order to develop and release features into production
  • Gather, analyze and report key metrics on product performance, launch timelines, and team productivity
  • Help to define and manage product roadmaps executing on current priorities while planning future strategy
  • Analyse existing applications, build clear requirements accompanied by appropriate artifacts (features, user stories, wireframes, mockups, prototypes)
  • Manage the delivery of high quality features on-time
  • Learn and understand company’s business model
  • Communicate information about the roadmaps and projects “up” and “down”
  • Quickly respond to critical issues, roadblocks and shifting priorities

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Product Management experience
  • Experience designing web products along with a solid understanding of web technology and UX design
  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in the software field for web, ecommerce, or media companies, financial services experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering, business or similar fields
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of delivering products on-time
  • Experience with facilitating prioritization discussions across product backlogs
  • Excellent communicator, both oral and written, with ability to influence at all levels and in various departments; a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to distill requirements from multiple stakeholders into a single feature set
  • Deep knowledge of the product development life-cycle
  • Results oriented, highly self-motivated, and quick-to-learn personality
