Job Description

Our client is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Creative Technology Director with exceptional communication skills to be the driving force of several projects both on a technical and creative level. This person will work closely with the Digital strategy and creative teams  to help build new client relationships as well as enhance existing ones. 

Qualifications

Team Leadership/Project enhancement & Client Relation:
  • Contributes to the technical direction of projects including documentation
  • Establishes and maintains the highest level of quality and finish with each engagementCollaborates with internal Creative and Digital Strategy teams to identify and define digital concepts
  • Identifies risks and contributes solutions internally and to the client
  • Contributes to Digital Design and UX efforts providing solutions and problem-solving ideas
  • Mentors technology resources
  • Serves as technology lead on client projects
  • Identifies resource needs for each engagement

Business Development:

  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Contributes to sales efforts including creation of presentation materials
  • Establishes strong communication pipelines with Deutsch Account Management teams
  • Contributes and suggests digital concepts as part of new business pitches
  • Attends and contributes to pitch presentations in front of new client stakeholders

Great Machine and Department Growth:

  • Identifies systems or applications that can improve department efficiency & opportunities
  • Contributes to the vision and growth of Great Machine
  • Serves as a department advocate throughout the agency
  • Participates in resource acquisition efforts

Collaborates technically and creatively to provide innovative ideas and solutions on new technologies:

  • Performs other reasonable and relevant activities and functions as requested and required
  • Experiments with new technologies and platforms
  • Contributes to prototype concept ideation
  • Presents prototypes and emerging technologies internally and at events

Education Requirements & Skills:

  • 10+ years of leading complex projects from inception to launch
  • Over 10 years of experience in front end and/or back-end technologies
  • 10+ years of applied creative technology contributions
  • Over 5 years of technical account service
  • 5+ years of experience in personnel management

BA, BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar area

The Successful Candidate will have the following desired/key skills: 

  • Expertise in preparing proposals and presentations to all levels of a client's organization
  • Diverse development experience in front and back-end technologies including native mobile
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Deep understanding of architecture and optimization of digital applications
  • Extensive experience creating digital experience that garner industry attention and drive business
  • Demonstrated ability to balance workload of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience building campaigns and platforms that leverage AI libraries
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong ability to identify talent and place resource in high success situations
  • Experience of working with large corporate infrastructures and teams
  • Natural presence during presentation and client meetings
