Job Description
We are an exciting and progressing software company seeking a creative Sr. Data Engineer/ Data Engineer to help build and design our unique systems using Data Science and new technologies.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years Developer experience in a professional capacity
- NoSQL usage (Mongodb, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.
- Familiarity with big data
- Strong understanding and proficiency in Java 8
- SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Machine learning implementation experience (Neural Nets, Baysian, Linear Regression, Decision Tree, Clustering)
- Ability to identify and optimize code to provide performance with reasonable compute levels
- Kafka
- Queuing (activeMQ, SQS, redis etc)
- Python, R, Javascript
- Familiarity with big data
