Job Description

We are currently seeking an accomplished, Senior MS Programmer/Analyst for a permanent/full-time opportunity with our client, a successful private investment firm located in El Segundo. In this full-time position, the Programmer/Analyst will design, develop, and support various multi-user systems that will help automate the client's activities and solve complex issues. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work closely with a group of capable investment individuals in a fast paced environment, while quickly becoming familiar on the underlying investment area domain knowledge. The Senior MS Programmer/Analyst will be responsible for developing systems with a database back-end and web based front-end in a Microsoft .NET environment. So candidates must have in-depth experience designing and implementing multi-user systems in the Microsoft .NET environment with a strong background in database design, Visual Studio, VB.NET, C#,SQL, SSRS, and ASP.NET.  Senior MS Programmer/Analyst will also be responsible for technical analysis, design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of applications in the .NET environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information systems, plus 6-7 years of experience working at an Investment management organization. (Masters degree in these areas is preferred but not required) 

- Strong experience in SQL based relational database design.

-Mastery of web-based front-end methodologies, tools and techniques

-Experience in rapid prototyping environments.

-Independent, self-starting, adaptive, collaborative temperament

-Excellent communication skills and ability to work with highly accomplished users.
