Type: Fixed-term 6-month employment contract
As Fenix continues to grow, we're focused on strengthening our systems and standardising our processes to support the next stage of our business. We're seeking a Technical Document Writer to join our Asset, Training & Compliance team on a fixed-term six-month contract.
Working closely with technical experts, you'll develop, review and standardise documentation across our Training and Maintenance functions, allowing operational teams to remain focused on delivering business outcomes.
Your work will create a comprehensive library of technical documentation that supports onboarding, training, maintenance execution, compliance, system utilisation and future business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review and standardise technical documentation across the Training and Maintenance functions.
- Create clear procedures, work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals and training resources.
- Document maintenance planning, scheduling and operational workflows to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Produce user guides and process documentation for the MEX Asset Management System.
- Develop process maps, templates and documentation that support compliance, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Maintain document control, version management and review schedules to ensure documentation remains current and accurate.
About You
- Experience developing technical documentation within mining, maintenance, engineering or other operational environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical and user-friendly documents.
- Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and document accuracy.
- Confident working collaboratively with subject matter experts while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with procedures, work instructions, SOPs, training materials or maintenance documentation is highly regarded.
- Passion for creating high-quality documentation that supports safe, efficient and consistent operations.
