Job Description

Role: Crushing Boilermaker
Location: Weld Range, Western Australia FIFO ex-Perth
Roster: 8 Day, 6 Off – 12-hour day shifts only
Type: Fulltime, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join the maintenance team supporting a new fixed plant crusher at our Iron Ore mining operation in the Weld Range, WA. In this role, you will carry out fabrication, welding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on crusher and fixed plant infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the inaugural team establishing a new crushing operation and to contribute directly to the long-term performance and reliability of the plant from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out fabrication, welding, and structural repairs on fixed plant crushing equipment and associated infrastructure
  • Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on crushers, chutes, conveyors, screens, and related plant
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with site procedures, permits, and isolation standards
  • Work closely with operators, maintenance fitters, and supervisors to ensure efficient plant operation and minimal downtime
  • Promote and adhere to a strong safety culture across all maintenance and operational activities

Required Skills and Experience

  • Australian Recognised Engineering Fabrication Trade Certificate (mandatory)
  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker/Fabrication Tradesperson in a fixed plant, mining, or heavy industrial environment
  • Experience working on crushing circuits or similar fixed plant processing equipment (highly regarded)
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel and wear components
  • Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
  • Current ‘C’ Class Western Australian Driver’s Licence.
