Job Description

The Production Coordinator will participate in a number of follow-up and organizational tasks for the production team. More precisely, duties and responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain the company's project and tracking databases;
  • Create assets, plans and tasks, then update information in our systems;
  • Organize, facilitate and manage project goals, deliverables and releases with the project manager, supervisor and artists;
  • Participate in daily production or catch-up planning meetings;
  • Plan the review of upcoming sprints in Jira;
  • Ensure that everyone has a clear idea of their tasks and objectives and that they have all the necessary elements to work efficiently;
  • Anticipate, assess and raise issues that could impact objectives, deadlines or scope of work;
  • Relay and communicate relevant information, schedule changes or potential changes with managers and producers;
  • Ensure all notes are passed to the artists and documented in ShotGrid/Shotgun;
  • Gather feedback on tools and participate in their improvement;
  • Oversee, coordinate and consolidate internal and external broadcasts and deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of project management experience, particularly in the visual effects, video game or animations;
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, planning and task management skills;
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative, as part of a team, to improve the overall efficiency of the studio, an ever-changing creative environment;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English;
  • College or university education in a related field or film production;
  • Experience with ShotGrid / Shotgun, Jira, Confluence and Smartsheet will be a great asset.
