Feldco Windows Siding & Doors located in Des Plaines, IL is looking for candidates for our Service Technician position. This position is one of the most highly promoted positions within our organization with opportunities to advance into management. If you have a construction background and have experience working with windows, siding, & doors, this is the job for you. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Accurate production measurements on four of our product lines: windows, siding, doors, and garage doors.
• In-depth service & warranty work, including minor services as well as complete removal & replacement of products.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues
• Installation inspections
• Interfacing & Delighting our customers
• Communicating with all departments company wide 

Requirements

• 3 years experience with residential remodeling, specifically with windows, siding & doors
  
• Extremely accurate and detail-oriented 
• Knowledge of current codes & proper construction techniques
• Outstanding customer service skills
• PC/Tablet skills for order entry & appointment resulting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays to meet the demands of our customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or trade school coursework
• Skilled trade experience with replacement windows and doors
• Home improvement/replacement contractor industry experience

Position Hours & Compensation:

• Vehicle & power tools provided during work hours
