Job Description

Determines eligibility for all programs that are administered by the FCDJFS.

Completes all task associated with case maintenance

Attends hearings and meetings regarding public assistance/workforce issues/cases.

Performs miscellaneous tasks as directed by supervisor/director

Qualifications

Knowledge of office practices and procedures, agency computer systems, federal, state and local law, rules and regulations governing eligibility for public assistance/workforce programs.

Social welfare issues.

Skills and typing, verbal and oral communication, ability to extract information from various sources, draw valid conclusions, listen for problems and issues and provide responses and explanations. 

Prepare correspondence, interview others, and work on multiple task projects, read, copy and record figures.

Knowledge of English grammar and composition; ability to interpret; ability to negotiate with others.

Skills and public speaking.

Ability to interact with hostile or angry individuals; and the ability to complete forms and maintain accurate records.

Or education, training and/or experience in an amount equal to the minimum qualifications stated above.
