Job Description

OBJECTIVE: Primary duties of this position:  Responsible for the Administrative process of establishment of paternity and child support cases.   

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Primary duties include:

  • Process and review case information to establish paternity and child support cases
  • Coordinates and schedules all administrative establishment hearings held by the CSEA
  •  Works with the Administrative Hearing Officer to prepare and process the Administrative Determinations regarding all administrative hearings
  • Interviews clients
  • Coordinates with LabCorp on Genetic Testing Conducted
  • Preparation and processing legal documents
  • Appears and testifies in Court hearings
  • The employee must possess the skills and ability to cope with diverse environments, health hazards and personal safety issues, including aggressive behaviors

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have any combination of training and work experience, which indicates possession of the skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to perform this job. Child support program experience, intergovernmental knowledge and college coursework preferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, and SharePoint).  Exceptional customer service skills and ability to respectfully respond to customer frustrations.  Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks/projects. Must be adaptable and willing to work in a team environment.

Additional Information

Full Time position.  40 hours per week

Work hours: Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: 18.80
