Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a Junior Finance Systems Administrator to support the day-to-day management of our finance systems and ensure the smooth running of core finance processes. This role is ideal for someone with experience in finance who is looking to expand into finance systems, with opportunities to grow skills in system administration, data governance, and continuous improvement. NetSuite experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Monitor the Finance Systems inbox, triage tickets, provide support across systems (NetSuite, Concur, Esker, Avalara). This can include liaising with 3rd party support to log, investigate and resolve issues.
  • Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventative or detection measures.
  • Perform tasks such as creating new users, updating roles, and maintaining core master data (GL accounts, subsidiaries, departments, classes, items, custom segments).
  • Build and modify saved searches, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support testing cycles for system changes and maintain clear documentation.
  • Progress toward workflow and process modification as experience grows.
  • Working closely with Finance teams to understand business needs and translate them into system actions.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

Skills and experience

  • Experience with finance ERP systems & processes (AP/AR, billing, revenue operations, or similar).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain system concepts clearly.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferable (but not essential) experience

  • NetSuite
  • SQL databases
  • CSV imports
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS and Javascript
