Job Description

As VP Financial Advisor, you are the first introduction to Farther for prospective clients. You are responsible for identifying prospect needs, identifying how Farther can help, and communicating our unique value to them. You apply your history of success in acquiring client relationships and comprehensive finance knowledgebase to bring new clients onto the Farther platform. As a pioneering member of Farther’s client acquisition team, this is an opportunity to have a huge impact on the company and to help define how acquisition is done right.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Turn prospects into clients
  • Manage leads, own outreach efforts, and build relationships with prospective clients
  • Communicate with prospects across videochat, chat, and email to provide an experience that consistently exceeds expectations
  • Communicate in Farther’s investment philosophy in clear, understandable language and guide clients through Farther’s recommendations based on client and market inputs
  • Prepare for prospect video calls and execute on follow-ups
  • Be the voice of client to the rest of the Farther team
  • Develop, document, and automate aspects of the client acquisition process

REQUIREMENTS

  • Client-facing experience at a financial institution with a proven track record of success
  • Expert, current knowledge of investment products and services across personal finance 
  • Ability to convey financial advice with empathy, understanding, humility, and confidence
  • Experience with and knowledge of standard operational aspects of client service (e.g., onboarding, ACATs, distributions)
  • Series 65 or equivalent; clean U4
