Job Description

As a Growth Hacker, you will spearhead Farther’s growth strategy. You’ll find creative ways to reach potential clients, increase downloads of our app, and engage current users. You will work closely with the founders to implement growth strategy from a product, engineering, and marketing perspective. You will have free rein to A/B test new and unique ideas based on a deep understanding of data pulled from all aspects of our business and will be relentless in your pursuit of growth. This role requires a combination of software engineering, business analysis, marketing and data engineering skills. 

We're looking for someone earlier in their career who is looking for an opportunity to step up, break out, and build the skills needed to guide and lead marketing teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, test, and optimize ideas to drive traffic to marketing site, landing pages, and social media 
  • A/B test ideas and analyze data and feedback to increase app downloads and user conversion
  • Analyze user data and feedback to glean actionable insights and work with product and engineering to turn these insights into a more user centric product
  • Optimize AARRR metrics (Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral – Revenue).
  • Prioritize and optimize growth channels to improve performance
  • Scale and automate growth processes
Requirements: 
  • 2+ years experience in growth hacking, demand generation, or marketing at a high growth tech startup
  • Successful track record using conversion rate optimization tactics to drive consumer acquisition
  • Experience using tools to run split testing experiments
  • Experience building referral marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Entrepreneurial and creative with a break-through-walls attitude
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment
Bonus Points: 
  • Experience with R/Python
  • Experience with database systems including MySQL/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB
