FarmWise is building adaptive autonomous robots to farm every plant, every day, for greater yield, better margins, and a healthier environment. Our first prototype is already weeding California's farms by looking at and acting on each and every plant with a purely organic weeding process, thus providing farmers with a superior alternative to existing methods in the field. Job Description

Farmwise is looking for an operation intern to help with the deployment of its first set of autonomous robots to farms in 2018. The intern’s responsibilities will be divided into three categories:  

  • Managing the logistics and supply chain of robot parts’ inventory.

  • Planning field trial operations for deployment: schedules, transportation, accommodations, supplies.

  • Building tools and processes to improve and refine logistics processes.

The intern in this position will be working under the direct supervision of FarmWise’s CEO. Though most of the time will be spent in San Francisco, some of the work will be done in deployments on farms in California and some flexibility geographical flexibility is expected.   


We get excited about self-starter and hard-working candidates who have:

  • a BS or MS in Agricultural Engineering, Operations, Logistics Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • a passion for well done and details.
  • a working knowledge of standard logistic best practices.
  • some professional or real-life experience in event organizations, operations or supply chain management.
