About The Job

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Research Associate with a strong background in lipid nanoparticle research. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our RNA delivery technologies, contributing to the development of novel therapeutic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and characterize LNPs for preclinical studies in a timely manner
• Analyze LNP critical quality attributes via Dynamic Light Scattering, RiboGreen, HPLC, CE, etc.
• Assist with early lipid nanoparticle process development and scale-up efforts
• Analyze, summarize, and present key experimental findings to team members and management
• Maintain detailed records documenting formulation activities and results
• Interface directly with other functional teams
• Share responsibility for basic lab management activities (supply ordering, instrument calibration, maintaining schedules)
• Train new hires as directed on routine methods to generate and analyze LNPs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in lab-scale production of LNPs including NanoAssemblr or inline mixing
• Experience with buffer exchange techniques such as dialysis, desalting columns, and/or tangential flow filtration
• Proficiency with plate-based fluorescence assays such as RiboGreen or TNS to determine LNP properties
• Experience with cell and tissue culture using sterile technique
• Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, CE is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
