Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and team guidance on managing several projects and/or products to meet organizational goals.In this role, you will provide advanced analytical support to make decisions regarding resources, timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities. You will develop processes to enhance coordination with other teams and ensure support of the portfolios.
 

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Enterprise Planning Lead role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Support Portfolio planning and manage engagement with key stakeholders across business, technology, finance, strategy, and other supporting groups, with goal of driving achievement of key deliveries in support of Fannie Mae’s Strategic Plan.
  • Engage with stakeholders, to support administration of Portfolio & Program Management Policy and Standard for the Enterprise.
  • Support Capacity Based Planning initiative Enterprise Planning including the development of performance snapshots, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and executive reporting for senior management.
  • Synthesize analysis and recommendations for senior level audiences
  • Provide complex analysis of data and information gathered for reports to be presented to internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Monitor lean governance compliance and manage first line operational risk.
  • Assess current and future state tooling. 

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing project plans and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Experience in story telling and presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand, including graphical presentation in the form of charts, pictures, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions.

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives.
  • Understanding and  interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
  • Highly skilled at Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Relationship Management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Communication skills including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
