Family Doctor is seeking a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This role is ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.

As an integral part of our healthcare and social services team, you’ll have the opportunity to support patients in achieving their health and fitness goals through expert guidance and personalised care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tailored exercise programs to support patients in managing chronic conditions and improving overall health
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care plans
• Conduct health and fitness assessments to develop individualised treatment plans

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in prescribing exercise programs for patients with diverse needs and abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both patients and healthcare professionals
• Proficiency in conducting health and fitness assessments, including ECGs and stress testing
• Relevant qualifications in Exercise Physiology or a related field
• Current accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field
• Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) certification
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
