Job Description

Conducts data collection, organization, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of results; Conducts research and program evaluation activities for the agency; Performs a diverse range of tasks in analyzing student achievement data and producing statistical reports.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Agency Knowledge Base
    • Oversight of sections of the COACHES Program Manual that link service delivery to the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Data Collection
    • Development of paper instruments, where applicable
    • Development of electronic instruments, where applicable

 

  • Data Monitoring
    • Data cleaning and preparation
    • Reconciliation and reporting for data collected outside of the EHR
    • Review of quality assurance reports
    • Staff training and monitoring support for corrective actions

 

  • Data Analysis
    • Analysis of missing data by case and within records
    • Descriptive quantitative data summaries of EHR and survey data
    • Qualitative data analysis of interview and focus group data

 

o   Evaluation

 

    • Logic model development/updates
    • Development of SMART goals and objectives
    • Presentation of process data and links to outcomes for evaluation purposes
    • Attend multidisciplinary meetings
    • Report Development
      • Process evaluations
      • Outcome evaluations

Qualifications

  • Analytical skills; Master’s Degree in social science field, public health or  evaluative research
  • Proficiency in Statistical Software (SPSS, SAS, Stata) required
  • Ability to write and edit syntax for data cleaning, manipulation, analysis preparation and analysis
  • Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis required
  • Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel and Access
  • Ability to develop concise data summaries
  • Experience with training and presentations
  • Enthusiasm  for relationship building
  • An approach that is collegial, collaborative and accessible, yet self-confident and effective
  • A deep-seated passion for the mission, vision and impact of the agency
