Fair Oaks Estates is a secure gated community that offers Assisted Living and Memory Care for older adults with dementia. Our 63-bedroom community is located on four beautiful acres in Carmichael California. Our spacious private and shared studio apartments offer excellent views of mature landscaping and colorful courtyards.

We provide specialized care plans specific to the unique needs of each resident. We work with families, doctors, and other support groups to ensure we provide the right amount of care and attention, but not so much that we inhibit independence.

Clean all common areas within the community, such as the lobby, hallways, offices, public restrooms, dining room, library, activity room and employee break room.

Maintain & complete all designated items on the cleaning schedule & adhere to policies & procedures.

Ensure housekeeping & sanitation procedures set by Local, State, & Federal Regulations are adhered to.

Basic Duties -

1. Regular, punctual attendance.

2. Empty all garbage cans every morning.

3. “Deep” clean assigned rooms on daily basis. (See room cleaning form)

4. Use Housekeeping rags to clean rooms not Kitchen rags

5. Maintain a sanitary work area.

6. Practice good infection control such as proper hand washing to avoid cross contamination from soiled to clean linens.

7. Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned rooms.

8. Maintain patient bathrooms as assigned.

9. Keep chemicals and solutions secured and out of residents’ reach.

10. Vacuum carpets and clean floors as needed.

11. Pick up litter on facility property.

12. Check and clean equipment as directed.

13. Monitor supplies and report as needed.

14. Report equipment problems as needed.

15. Any other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
