{"uuid":"3b826415-da76-4f61-9d05-91739ab742a7","applyUrl":"https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/FacilityPerformanceConsultingLimited/744000152843429-technical-team-leader-electrical-commissioning-cxa-datacenter","jobAdLanguageCode":"en","jobTitle":"Technical Team Leader – Electrical Commissioning (CxA)-Datacenter","jobAdLocation":"Mumbai, Maharashtra, India","employmentType":"Full-time","jobFields":[],"content":{"sections":{"companyDescription":{"title":"Company Description","text":"<p>FPC Global are the world's leading digital building experts, we offer full-service integrated technology consultancy and professional services to the built environment.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>We partner with clients to improve asset performance, operational efficiency, sustainability outcomes, and digital maturity across complex portfolios.</p>"},"jobDescription":{"title":"Job Description","text":"<p>We are seeking an Electrical Commissioning Technical Team Leader to spearhead the commissioning delivery team for hyperscale and colocation AI data-centre projects.</p><p>This role will provide strategic technical leadership, people management and client-facing governance across the complete commissioning lifecycle from L0–L6, with particular emphasis on L3 Energization, L4 Functional Performance Testing (FPT) and L5 Integrated Systems Testing (IST).</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Spearhead and mentor a team of 15–20+ commissioning leads and engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional development.</p></li><li><p>Establish and own the electrical commissioning strategy, planning, execution and technical governance framework.</p></li><li><p>Champion L3/L4/L5 commissioning delivery, including energization, FPT, IST and failure-mode testing protocols.</p></li><li><p>Provide comprehensive technical oversight across HV/MV/LV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, batteries, ATS/STS, busway, PDU/PMDC and EPMS/SCADA infrastructure.</p></li><li><p>Review and validate SLDs, protection schemes, coordination studies, load-flow/short-circuit/arc-flash studies, SOO and commissioning test scripts for technical accuracy and compliance.</p></li><li><p>Lead and oversee FAT/SAT, primary and secondary injection testing, protection verification, load-bank testing and integrated systems testing activities.</p></li><li><p>Validate seamless electrical integration with BMS, EPMS, mechanical and fire/life-safety systems to ensure operational coherence.</p></li><li><p>Drive resolution of commissioning issues through rigorous RCA, maintain risk registers, manage punch lists and ensure technical close-out compliance.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the senior technical interface with hyperscale clients, CxA teams, consultants, contractors, OEMs and utilities, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.</p></li><li><p>Champion electrical safety culture, LOTO protocols, energization and switching procedures throughout the commissioning lifecycle.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>15+ years overall electrical engineering/commissioning experience.</p></li><li><p>8+ years data-center or mission-critical electrical commissioning experience.</p></li><li><p>Proven leadership of at least 3-4 complete L3/L4/L5 commissioning cycles.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience of leading at least 2 ISTs in hyperscale projects.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing 15–20+ engineers/technicians.</p></li><li><p>Strong hands-on knowledge of HV/MV/LV, protection, generators, UPS, EPMS/SCADA and integrated testing.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of Uptime Institute, TIA-942, IEC, IEEE, NETA, NFPA 70/70E/110 and applicable local codes.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills</p></li></ul>"},"qualifications":{"title":"Qualifications","text":"<p>Preferred Certifications</p><p>NETA III/IV | CxA/CBCP | CDCP/CDCS | Uptime Institute ATD or&#xa0; equivalent</p><p>Ideal background: Hyperscale/colocation data centers, substations, power generation, semiconductor, pharmaceutical/life sciences, or other mission-critical facilities.</p><p><strong>Location: New Mumbai</strong></p>"},"additionalInformation":{"title":"Additional Information","text":"<p>At FPC, we’re not just a company—we’re a thriving community where innovation flourishes, ideas are celebrated, and careers are shaped.
