Job Description

Job Title:                                    Server

Immediate Supervisor:                  Manager on Duty

Purpose of job:                            To meet and greet all guests on arrival in a bright and friendly manner. Exhibit a balance of efficiency and personality when taking the order, delivering the food and presenting an accurate bill, ensuring exceptional courtesy and service.  Ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests.  

Responsibilities/Duties     

To include but not limited to:

Guest Interaction:                        Demonstrate a positive, friendly rapport with all guests.  Commits to ensuring exceptional service and product delivery to all guests.

Service:                                     Provides outstanding service to all guests and assists co-workers in doing the same.  Communicates with guests, fellow employees especially kitchen staff) and managers effectively and courteously. 

Sales:                                        Educates guests about full menu and specials and other restaurants.  Shows a genuine interest in improving the guests dining experience by suggesting specific menu items and increasing personal cover average.

Menu knowledge & Food

Preparation:                                Demonstrates complete menu knowledge and the ability to identify and garnish all food and beverage items.

 

Cash Handling:                            Consistently maintain cash and cash equivalents in a responsible manner.

Side work:                                  Performs opening, ongoing and closing duties as assigned by the Manager.

Dependability, Punctuality

And Attendance:                          Attends work on time as scheduled. When absent informs management in a timely manner.  Attends scheduled meetings.

Personal Conduct &

Appearance:                               Maintains appropriate uniform, grooming and hygiene standards.  Follows standards of conduct and all company polices and procedures, systems & rules expressed by management.

Safety:                                      Works carefully and safely.  Helps others work safely and takes action regarding safety hazards (such as spills).  Uses equipment safely for its intended purpose only.

Qualifications

2 to 3 Year's experince in Resturant or any Hospitality
