Logistics (GCSS) Information System Administrator

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Employment Type: FTE, Contingent upon award

Clearance: Secret eligible

Salary: $60-70K

Support the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Command Equipment Sustainment – Contractor Logistics Support. Daily duties include logistical administration of the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) related to all contractor logistics support activities that occur at the 1st Area Medical Laboratory (AML), Nuclear Disablement Team (NDT), and Analytical and Remediation Activity (CARA) units. The Administrator may assist in the developing and maintaining applicable GCSS-A generated reports and responding to database inquiries as required by the support representatives. The GCSS-A Administrator will also collaborate and work closely with the primary GCSS-A System Operators.

This is a purposeful opportunity for a Logistics Information System Administrator located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Responsibilities include management of Army property, property book functions, inventory control, maintenance activities, and supply requisitions.

5 years logistics/supply management experience doing this type of work:

• Administration of GCSS-A and/or Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system.
• Management of medical property
• Coordination of regular maintenance services for medical equipment
• US Citizen eligible to attain a Secret clearance
