About FRP Cyprus

FRP Cyprus is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing Audit, Accounting, Tax, Advisory, Restructuring and Transaction Services. As part of the wider FRP Group, we deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions across a broad range of industries and jurisdictions.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and technically strong Assistant Manager to join our Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of audit and assurance engagements, supporting Senior Managers and Partners while supervising and mentoring junior team members. You will be responsible for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Plan, coordinate and review audit work to ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
  • Supervise, coach and develop audit associates and senior associates.
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Identify audit risks and develop appropriate audit responses.
  • Liaise directly with clients and act as a day-to-day point of contact.
  • Monitor engagement budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
  • Assist in the development of client relationships and identification of business opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of firm-wide quality and compliance procedures.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Audit team.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of external audit experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and ISAs.
  • Experience supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other audit-related software.
  • Knowledge of the Cyprus business environment and regulatory framework would be considered an advantage.
